A unique camping experience – Oswald Beach

I went camping out Oswald West State Park at the Oregon Coast this weekend. As the sign indicated, it was a unique camping experience. We were allowed to have six people sleeping on our campsite. We had six (some of which were rather large) tents set-up in our campsite. I am surprised that we didn't get kicked out. I am glad we didn't get kicked out, as it was raining quite heavily. Note to self, bring rain gear when camping in what is considered a rain forest. A descent sweater and some pants would have helped as well. It also wouldn't have hurt to check the weather report before leaving. I was planning to wake up at 7am this morning and go on a giant run before heading back to Portland. That didn't happen for two reasons. One, you can't run for three hours after staying up all night  drinking beers and smoking cigars. Cigars,by the way, make me feel pretty sick. Secondly, drinking a gallon of water before going to sleep might have some positive effects when it comes to combating a hangover. It, however, also ensures that you're up all night stumbling around the campsite barefooted while trying to locate the bathroom. Note to self, bring a flash light. Either way, I had a great time and uploaded some more pictures of this unique camping experience. Just click on the sign below.
