Back in LA

I am back in Los Angeles for a quick day-trip. Flew in late last night, and will be heading back tonight. A few things to note. 1. I got to spend some time in our old apartment in West LA, where Mark is still living. When we moved in the apartment didn't have a fridge. Since two young males usually aren't interested in spending a lot of money on fridges, we found one used on Craigslist. We didn't do an address check when picking up the fridge, which is why we found ourselves deep in South Central LA late one night. It was a scary evening but this beauty was well worth the effort. 2. I quickly was reminded why I don't like flying into  LAX. It took 1 1/2 hours after landing to get to our gate, catch a shuttle to the rental car place and then rent a car. Only about 15 minutes can be attributed to me not asking for directions. 3. LA has lots of radio stations. There ought to be at least 500 different radio stations in this city. Too bad my car stereo was stuck (literally) on the sports radio station.
