I just got back to town and needed to iron a couple of shirts for tomorrow. Well, I used Mark's iron, which is much more powerful and user friendly than my iron. Actually, mine might be one of the few irons these days that doesn't have any kind of steam functionality. That and my glaring lack of ironing skill make for rather wrinkled days in the office. So I used Mark's iron. And then I broke it, by dropping it off my ironing board. Anyway, buying Mark a new iron is going to cost me a fortune. It ought to be the best iron out there. Mark is like Martha Stewart when it comes to appliances. To make up for this expense, I am going to cut my dry cleaning costs. 2005 is going to be one wrinkly year. But really, something shouldn't be called an iron if it can't handle a 4 foot free fall onto carpet. Hey, at least I'll have a really fancy super glued iron to call my own now. I also went to Trader Joe's today. I really don't drink wine (maybe 2-3 times a year), but every time I go to Trader Joe's, I come home with some different bottle of wine. They just have the best deals out there. Well actually, I really wouldn't know.
