Day 23: 5000+ Some Words and an Unlikely Reunion at Casa Vega

I had a rather massive writing session on my plane ride to the US, mostly thanks to the German lady in the seat next to me who thought it was totally appropiate to not only sit with her pants open and unbuttoned but also chose to walk around the plane that way.  No sleep till America, literally. Instead I wrote. And wrote. And closed my eyes every time I looked to my left. And now I am pretty much done with my first draft. I've written all the chapters that I wanted to write.  Hence, I probably won't continue my daily writing schedule this week but rather will do some select edits and additions. Then I am planning to completely wrap up the first draft on the flight back to Germany.  Turns out that Amanda decided to not run off with another man. Or if she did, she decided to come back. Either way, we celebrated at Casa Vega, because that's where you celebrate in the Valley.
