got water

What did you do this Saturday? Besides seeing my favorite soccer team not win the German championship once again, I spent six hours flooding my kitchen, made three trips to Ace Hardware and then de-assembled and re-assembled my kitchen faucet four different times. I know once again have (very high pressured,  fire=hose like) running water in my kitchen and am fairly sure what I need do to have a fully functional kitchen faucet. Let’s just say that I didn’t have to take apart my kitchen sink. Once I am confident that the weekend shift at the hardware store has the day off, I will go back and purchase the parts I broke in the process of fixing my kitchen faucet.

Note to self, when working with running water; turn off the running water.

It’s always a bit of a stretch when I try to relate my comments to Mario’s entry on the themarioblog. This time is no exception. While Mario has been hard at pipe work, I have been trying to piece together the functions on my new MacBook. So far so good–I have made it onto the Internet, installed some software, and as of yet, not lost any of my old information or missed any big games. Anybody who has talked tech with Mario knows that he is passionate about these machines. If not for this passion, I’d probably be able to recognize more than a third of the icons on my desktop.

Rick…you got a macbook? Great news. I just ordered a new battery for mine, after 3 years of solid use.
