Another Thanksgiving is just around the corner. It is actually my 6th one in this lifetime. My first one outside of Montana. I am actually housesitting for my boss in Hollywood. He has a nice cat and a little Dachs dog. The Dachs (name = Velvet) is actually pretty famous in local circles, as she has survived an attempted dog suicide attempt by jumping of the third floor of our office building. She was in a coma for a solid month but managed to fully recover. A legend in my book. Velvet is sitting next to me as I write. My boss told me that she would be constantly barking and trying to piss me off. But I see none of that. She is lying next to me and I actually had to carry her outside to go to the bathroom. And Velvet hasn’t barked yet.
Anyway, I am currently right on Sunset Boulevard. On the bottom of the Hollywood Hills. It is a really nice place and I should probably take some pictures as I am here. I am going to spend Thanksgiving with my coworker Trevor. Actually, we are going to to his parents in law. It is super nice of Trevor to invite me for dinner and I am excited that I don’t have to attempt and cook my own Thanksgiving feast. Tomorrow night, my good friend Molk is flying in to visit me. I can’t wait. It’s going to be awesome to see the guy and somehow I sense that we are going to have a blast.
Happy Thanksgiving. Spend it with your closest friends and family. It’s one of those days. My best wishes to all of you out there.
