job fair

So today I went to a job fair. Not to find a job, but rather to host a booth. It was rather funny as me, and my partner Steve, were clearly the only non-human resources people at this event. However, I got to say that our booth might have just been the most popular one. We brought nothing but green and black M&Ms in plastic shot glasses and business cards. Everybody else was handing out brochures, pens and just about anything else you could imagine. I guess, it’s fair to say that we were rather unique.

At one point, one girl walked up to me and told me that she had heard of us, because these two other girls had been talking about us in the bathroom. Now, I am not sure if that’s a good thing or not.

Let me clear things up for you… girls talking about you in the bathroom is never a good thing… not ever. Even if they’re saying good things… its bound to get ugly.
