KARAOKE, ADVERTISING AND CATS
Once again, I am sorry about not posting to my blog yesterday. I had a long day at work and had to go to my design class afterwards. A full day. Oh, and after that I went to the Ram with Pete, Jared and some girl named Riley. She was nice, but there can’t be any girls on Thursday nights at the Ram. It was still a lot of fun, don’t get me wrong. Just no more girls. That’s a rule.
So, I had another great day at work today. At about 4pm, music was played over the intercom and everybody was called to the kitchen area. One of our contractors had his last day today and he deserved to depart on a great note. His name is Greg and he was one of the few guys in the shop. Most the employees are girls, so with Greg’s departure the male gender is losing ground fast. I guess Greg liked to sing, so we got him a karaoke machine. And the guy liked cookies, so we got him a large box of them. Then the cooled mugs were taken out of the fridge and the hefeweizen was poured. Oh, I almost forgot. Greg also had to try his new karaoke machine and the agency atmosphere quickly shifted. Many got to proove their vocal talents, video footage was taken and everybody had a good time. I love Advertising…
Afterwards everybody went out for beers. Everyone, except me. I had to go back and clean Jerry’s apartment. Kim and him are coming back from Mexico tonight, so I had to take the necessary precautions. I kept the cats alive and the building is still standing. Mission accomplished, to say the least. I am hoping that they got me a t-shirt or date or just about anything from Mexico.
