After my flag football outing, I had just about the worst soccer game on my life on Sunday. With my heavily bruised shoulder, rarely functional legs and a ridiculously tight hip; I decided to join my soccer team on Sunday morning. We actually won 4:2 and I did score two goals. However, we must have played the worst team in the league. Any ball that didn’t exactly land on my right foot was gone. I also lost several sprints against a 55-yr old Greek dude, who hadn’t outran anyone since his grandson learned how to walk.
On Thursday, I am flying to visit my buddy Rick in Salem, Oregon. My boss gave me a free ticket, so I’ll certainly make use of that. I hear a tour of wine tasting and some professional hockey is on the program. Hopefully, I can walk like a normal human being by then.
