On Friday, our entire office flew to our Seattle headquarters to celebrate the agency’s 10 year anniversary. At first we took a tour of our Seattle office, then a group of us started exploring one of Seattle’s many microbrew serving pubs. After a couple of hours of good solid fun, we had to start getting ready for the big party. I jumped into my suit and off I went. The party was a blast. I probably had a few too many Wodka Tonics. What a lousy date I was, as I didn’t return to our room (in the very nice W) until 8am. Poor Sada.
Anyway, Saturday and Sunday were spent with many of my good old friends. Elisa and Kayla came down from Orcas to meet me for lunch. Kayla is growing to be a real lady. The afternoon was spent watching football with my buddy Jared and his roommate. Dinner with Jerry and Kim. And then I hung out with Natilee for a while. It was really good to see her, as we had managed to not talk to each for 3 straight months. I am sure and hopeful that will change now and we can start to reestablish the ties between us. Being in different cities is tough, but let’s see what we can figure out.
This morning, I went out to breakfast with Jerry and Kim. It was Jerry 48th birthday. Congrats old man. From there, I took a cab to the airport and flew out of Seattle shortly after lunch. The weather is about 30 degrees warmer here in Los Angeles and Craig is still sitting in front of his computer. Nothing has changed, but it was great to get out of here for a couple of days. Now I can’t wait to visit Montana over Christmas.
