Today I survived my first major earthquake. I couldn’t feel it, but that is besides the point. A magnitude 6.5 earthquake hit large parts of Central and Southern California today. Fortunately, the most affected areas were sparsely populated. Still two people lost their lives, hence there will be no joking around about it on the mario blog.
Today will also be my last day of writing in my blog for the year. I am taking a two week sabbatical (you don’t have to be pregnant to take a sabbatical, right?) from writing into my blog to go see my friends and family in Montana for a week. Followed by a few days of visiting Natilee in Seattle. It’s going to be awesome. Sadly, I will be leaving my blog behind in Los Angeles. Two weeks without Mario’s quirky senseless comments. But, when I am coming back, we are all going to celebrate the mario blog’s one year anniversary.
Anyway, I wish all of you a merry christmas and a happy new year. It has been an amazing experience to run this site. To this day about 13,500 different people have visited the mario blog and the site has received approximately 60,000 hits. Way above expectations.
Happy Holidays to everyone. All of you mean the world to me. Keep it rockin.
