techno mum

At least once a month, I get a phone call from my mum in state of near complete desolation. It’s usually right after she spent five hours trying to build a table into a powerpoint presentation, an image into a word document or getting her virus program to stop blocking all incoming emails. The great thing about my mum is that she’ll never give up, no matter what. That, combined with her lack of computer skills and absolute unwillingness to ask for help, can make for some pretty terrifying Sundays for my dad. When he called me today, I think he might as well have been near tears as well. Sadly for him, he knows much less about computers than my mum.
