In case you ever come to Seattle, there is one restaurant you have to go to. It’s right downtown and called #1 Teriyaki. It might quite possibly be housed in Seattle’s smallest building. You literally sit 2 1/2 feet away from the kitchen. You have to order their first thing on the menu. It’s Teriyaki Chicken and it’s as good as it gets. Just like the real stuff back in Italy. It costs $6 and that includes taxes.
The guy waiting the tables (and it’s always the same one) is barely conscious and you will think he is having a hard time taking your order. But he will get it. And he will get it right. So will the people in the kitchen.
If you seriously ever contemplate going to eat there, just let me know and I will give you exact directions. I had nothing else to write about. Sorry.
