volunteer, LA

Tonight Natilee and I are going to volunteer at the local homeless youth shelter. We have been planning to do so for a long time, but never seem to leave the office in time. After all, you can’t be much help arriving an hour after dinner was served. It should be a lot of fun. It’s hard to find time to volunteer when working, but living in a big city really has added a lot of awareness to my mind. There are a lot of homeless people and even children in Seattle. People in the Northwest are very friendly and supportive, but there still seems to be a long way to go. If I stay in Seattle it would be awesome to maybe volunteer on a regular basis. I should really set myself the goal to do at least once a week. We shall see.

I am flying down to LA next week to check out our office there. I have never been in Southern California before, so it should be very interesting to see what it’s like. I hear the weather is nice all year around. I believe LA is America’s biggest city. Lots of pollution and crime. Bel Air. Beverly Hills. Hollywood. Should be interesting. And what about those California girls?
